The Trust’s core values: Caring, Improving, Respect,High Standards
Each value is accompanied by a statement of eight behaviours to help make it clear to everyone of what is expected and required.
We engaged our staff, members of the public and stakeholders about the core values they feel the Trust should hold and demonstrate to colleagues, patients and stakeholders.
The core values determined from this work are:
- Caring – ensuring quality of care is at the heart of everything we do
- High standards – taking responsibility for providing the best services and patient experience
- Improving – we always look for ways to improve what we do. We encourage involvement, value contributions and listen to and positively act on feedback
- Respect – showing value and respect for everyone and treating others as they would wish to be treated.
